Accessibility
The Foot Clinic in Aldershot can accommodate accessibility for wheelchairs & walking frames.
We often get asked what the accessibility is like to get into our podiatry clinic in Aldershot. So here are all the details you need to know.
We often see patients for chiropody services from the Aldershot, Farnham, Fleet and Farnborough localities; we try our best to accommodate mobility issues.
Parking:
The Foot Clinic is situated on the High Street, Aldershot. It is opposite the multi-storey car park.
Parking is a breeze and can often be found directly outside the clinic or on the street. If street parking is busy, then drop off outside the clinic is possible or parking in the multi-storey car park across the road is also an option.
Often relatives or friends drop patients off directly outside the clinic door and then relocate the car to park.
Access:
Entry to the clinic is easy and is via video intercom Simply press the door buzzer and we will let you in. Then take a seat in reception and rest before your appointment.
There are no steps from the pavement level to access the clinic, however, there is a small metal threshold at the door, also this is ramped so it can be wheeled over easily.

External door width: 99cm / 39 inches

Internal door width to treatment room: 81cm / 32 inches
Your wheelchair or frame can be bought into the chiropody treatment room and parked right next to the treatment plinth. If you are able to transfer from your wheelchair with assistance to the plinth this is always preferable. But some patients find it more comfortable to stay in their wheelchair, for which your podiatrist or foot health practitioner can treat your feet at floor level.
My team and I really try to accommodate all our patients at my clinic and we are happy to discuss any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you at the Aldershot Foot Clinic in the near future.
